Learning Support offers individualised tutoring, resources and advice for struggling learners, their parents and teachers.
The tutors at Learning Support understand that everyone learns differently, and that sometimes individual learning support cannot be comprehensively delivered in a busy classroom. Learning Support tutors provide evidence-based, individualised support for students with learning difficulties (including dyslexia and dyscalculia). Tutoring support can include:
- Reading
- Spelling
- Comprehension
- Mathematics, and
- Assistive Technology
In addition, we provide:
- Professional development for teachers.
Our Aim
Our aim is to ensure that struggling learners understand their differences and celebrate their strengths because we believe that confident learners are more likely to realise their potential.
Interventions
Learning Support’s individualised programmes meet the specific needs of each struggling learner. No two children share the same set of strengths or areas of weaknesses. Our effective programmes utilise your child’s strengths in order to build on their specific areas in need of development. Our tutors are trained to use a range of evidence based programmes with their students and are all police vetted before working with working us.
